Painting on location – have easel, will travel
Portrait on location

Local farmer posed for a portrait session for a couple of hours

Painting with a group of friends around the Colac area  was great. This land has a fascinating geological history and is full of unexpected formations. Don, a local farmer, stopped and spoke to me while I was painting on a back road verge.  He invited us to see the blue stone cottage on his property. After chatting and visiting the space the end result was a portrait session, painting him outside his cottage. A truly memorable few hours as he chatted about the area and we drew furiously to record the moment.

These are the magical moments that happen when you set up your easel in the great outdoors, wherever you are all around the world.
